2024
1300 Club is Chartwells’ premium dinner night in the Bengal Kitchen. Every semester, the event provides an elevated dining experience featuring a menu that offers upscale steak-house entrees and desserts.
Brand Strategy: The typography, logo and branding for 1300 Club was inspired by signage from one of my favorite eras, the early 1900’s. Much like turn-of-the-century designs, the branding harmonizes bold slab-serif fonts with elegant san-serif and script fonts. My main goal for this event was to make it look upscale without being too stuffy or alienating. The black and brushed-gold color palette help to convey the fun but elegant night-out vibe that the event is known for.
