Lucky Cat Tea is a loose leaf tea brand I created for my senior thesis. The project focuses on branding, packaging and 3D fabrication. The boxes were printed on cardstock then laser cut and assembled by hand.
The project’s art direction is heavily inspired by retro prints and typefaces. The carefully chosen patterns and color palettes are meant to visually embody each tea flavor. The Lucky Cat brand is bold, vivid, funky and most importantly fun!
Process
First, the box designs were created in Adobe Illustrator. The box graphics were printed on heavy cardstock paper, then cut on an Epiloge Laser Cutter. Each box was then assembled by hand.
